Renji Abarai is a Shinigami friend ofIchigo Kurosaki's, and a childhood friend of Rukia Kuchiki's. He is one of the main protagonists in the series.
Appearance[]
Renji has long, spiky red hair that he often keeps ties in a ponytail. At the beginning of the series, Renji sported a pair of goggles which he kept around his forehead, but eventually switched to a simple bandanna after his goggles broke. His most interesting feature are his eyebrows, which are covered in tattoos, as well as the rest of his body.
When performing his Shinigami duties, Renji wears the traditional Shinigami's robes, but rarely ever wears his Lieutenan's badge.
